  WHAT HAPPENED?

  According to , the Bundesliga giants are in advanced talks to appoint Kompany as their new manager and could formally announce the Burnley boss' arrival in the next couple of days. Bayern, however, will have to pay compensation to the Clarets as the 38-year-old has an active contract at Turf Moor until 2028.
